Heavy Duty Tow Company Saves the Day After Telehandler Malfunctions
Our Elk Grove heavy duty tow team made their way to a construction site after a telehandler malfunctioned. A construction crew was working on underground pipes at an intersection. They were using the telehandler to offload equipment off of trucks.
Everything was going smoothly until the telehandler’s hydraulics completely locked up! The construction team was now stuck with a massive telehandler that no one could move! O’Hare’s heavy duty tow team was on site within 20 minutes of getting the phone call.
Seeing as the telehandler was on the road, they needed to be extremely precise with the lifting process to ensure no issues with passing motorists. This seems like a good time to remind you to slow down and move over if you ever see a tow truck on the side of the road!
Thankfully, the telehandler had designated lifting points, making the set-up process a lot smoother and definitely quicker! Once all the straps were in place, the team began the lifting process. Once the blue telehandler was in the air, the heavy duty tow team backed their RGN trailer underneath it.
With the trailer in place, the team was able to safely lower the telehandler onto the trailer. From there, it was a short drive to the repair facility.
Great work out there team!
